Traci’s Tidbits

What a busy last quarter we have had!! In July, we participated in National Adoption Week, sponsored by PetSmart Charities. Throughout that week, we had animals available for adoption at the PetSmart in Paducah, as well as here at our shelter.

The week-long event enabled 45 pets to find their forever homes! We then participated in Clear the Shelters, a nationwide adoption drive put on by NBC. Throughout the month-long campaign, we partnered with the Paducah PetSmart, Pet Food Center, and Rural King stores to hold adoption events at their stores. We ended Clear the Shelters with our Fall In Love Adoption Event here at the shelter. The month-long adoption drive helped find forever homes for 104 pets!!!

These events could not be successful without wonderful families that are willing to open their hearts and homes to these precious babies, so THANK YOU!!!

And a big THANK YOU to EVERYONE that has made donations to us, whether in the form of money or much needed items! We truly could not do this without you!!
