What is the Delta & Gram Spay & Neuter Clinic?
The Delta & Gram Spay & Neuter Clinic was established to help reduce pet overpopulation and improve animal health by offering low-cost spay and neuter services for residents of McCracken County.
We offer spay/neuter surgeries for dogs and cats 3 months of age and older.
Vaccines, if needed, can be done AT THE TIME OF SURGERY ONLY.

We do not offer routine or emergency veterinary services.
You will need to seek out a veterinarian for your pet to provide further care and/or emergency services.

Do's
- Do make an appointment ahead of time
- Do follow all pre-surgery fasting instructions (no food after midnight the night before)
- Do bring dogs in on leash and cats in secure carriers
- Do label carriers with your name, phone number, and pet’s name
- Do disclose any medications, health conditions, or recent illnesses in your pet
- Do arrive on time for check-in
- Do provide vaccination records
- Do plan for a quiet recovery area at home
- Do monitor your pet after surgery and follow all post-op instructions
- Do leash walk for 3 days after surgery to allow for proper healing
Don'ts
- Don’t feed your pet ANYTHING during fasting time
- Don’t bring pets that are sick…vomiting, coughing, diarrhea, without calling first
- Don’t allow pets to roam free in the parking lot or in the clinic
- Don’t leave without discharge instructions
- Don’t let your pet run, jump, or play excessively during recovery
- Don’t bathe or allow swimming until the incision is healed
- Don’t give human pain meds unless specifically directed by a veterinarian
- Don’t ignore redness, swelling, discharge, or an open incision
